Breakout Group, The Brethren, Will Host Their Debut EP Release Party In Bend, Oregon On Saturday, April 2

The Brethren will anchor their debut release party on Saturday, April 2 in their hometown of Bend, Oregon at Silver Moon Brewing.

This event marks the first time the two sets of brothers, the Parnells and Chapins, have performed together as a band since joining forces during the pandemic in 2020.

“We get to play live? For real? After years of being shut in, we’re ready to get loud, turn it up, and bring these songs into the world,” The Brethren’s lead guitarist Casey Parnell exclaims.

The night celebrates the band’s self-produced EP, Staring At Stars and its release to streaming services on Friday, April 1 via ONErpm.

The recording industry is already buzzing about The Brethren and their Grammy, Dove, and BMI award-winning members.

“These guys are a tribe. They have such a strong work ethic and hearts of gold, both on the road and in the studio. You can really hear it in these latest releases, and I can’t wait for more,” gushes writer Derek Williams (Thomas Rhett, Jake Owen, Florida Georgia Line).

“The perfection of having two sets of brothers shows not only in their harmonies, but in the vulnerability in creating music they truly believe in. I dare you to listen to I Ain’t Got You and not roll down your car window and crank it up,” beams songwriter Joeie Canaday (Keith Urban, Brooks & Dunn, Reba, Kane Brown).

About The Brethren

The Brethren is a four-piece country-rock band made up of two sets of brothers hailing from Bend, Oregon.

Corey and Casey Parnell and Chad and Lonnie Chapin are all sons of preachers that have taken their ingrained devotion and conviction to Nashville to write, record, and release their debut EP, Staring At Stars.

Their romantic storytelling and brotherly harmonies are celebrated among some of Nashville’s hottest songwriters, including Brian White, who said: “The first time I stepped in the room to write with The Brethren I knew something special was happening. The energy and vibe were simply contagious. Unbelievable musicians, great singers, and songs set the bar high. I’m a huge fan.”

The Parnells approached the Chapins to write songs in the early days of the pandemic, and their whiskey-fueled all-nighters are what listeners will come to know as their highly anticipated EP.
