Music City Publications, Inc. is proud to host a special open house event benefiting Folds of Honor Tennessee on Thursday, August 27, 2026, from 11 am to 7 pm.
Kathy Fox, President of Music City Publications, Inc., and publisher of Williamson County Living and Maury County Living, has been working on this project with a purpose for more than a year. The open house benefiting Folds of Honor Tennessee will showcase a luxury custom home built by Carbine & Associates while raising funds and awareness for the 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, whose mission is to provide educational scholarships to the spouses and children of America’s fallen and disabled military service members and first responders.
The open house will highlight the craftsmanship and expertise of the contractors, designers, and local businesses that helped bring the project to life, but it is more than a home tour. Folds of Honor Tennessee representatives will also be on-site, sharing its mission while attendees enjoy delicious food, drinks, and a whiskey tasting as they tour the home.
“This project is so much more than showcasing a beautiful home,” said Fox. “It is a story of hope, honoring sacrifice, supporting military families, and bringing the community together in a meaningful way as America celebrates 250 years of freedom in 2026.”
Additionally, there will be a limited number of swag bags and a variety of raffle items, including a $10,000 AmaWaterways European River Cruise sponsored by Carbine & Associates and Kristen Carbine with Compass Realty, and a beautiful genuine leather chair donated by B. F. Myers Furniture and Mattress. Car enthusiasts will have the opportunity to admire a stunning Lamborghini, courtesy of Rocket City RHD, and another luxury car showcased by 111 Motorcars during the event.
Many businesses from around the Greater Nashville area have also stepped up to help support the event: B.F. Myers Furniture & Mattress, Nashville Murphy Beds, Tennessee Shade Co., Graham’s Living, Franklin Kitchen Center, OrangeRhino Concrete Coatings, and Amy Montgomery Home. These companies have worked diligently to showcase their goods while also supporting a very worthy cause.
Amy Montgomery, lifestyle editor for Music City Publications, Inc., will feature a flower-arranging demonstration during the event at 2:30 pm. One lucky person will leave with the stunning arrangement created.

“This has truly been a community effort, and it was amazing to see so many businesses step up, willing to help without hesitation,” said Fox. “Folds of Honor is such a worthy cause, and its mission to provide educational scholarships to the spouses and children of fallen and disabled military service members and first responders is something I am very passionate about supporting. ”
Fox hopes the event will not only raise awareness for the important work of Folds of Honor Tennessee but also inspire continued support throughout Middle Tennessee. A check presentation ceremony will be held during the open house at 4:30 pm. All proceeds from ticket sales will be donated to support Folds of Honor Tennessee.
