In what is a life-long dream coming true, Most will make his Grand Ole Opry debut on Friday, August 7, 2026, at 7:00 PM at the Opry House in Nashville, appearing as part of the “Grand Ole Opry: OPRY 100” lineup alongside Haley Mae Campbell, Erin Kinsey, and other artists to be announced. During the show, Most will perform two songs and serve as a guest announcer, bringing his interpretations of Sinatra, Darin, Martin and other Great American Songbook standards to the historic Opry stage, a fitting way to kick off his birthday weekend on one of music’s most iconic stages.

The very next day, Saturday, August 8, Most’s actual birthday, he’ll appear at The Mulehouse in downtown Columbia, Tennessee, as the special guest on a live edition of “Swanky Southern Nights,” hosted by Makky Kaylor, writer of Tennessee’s official state-designated song “Tennessee Troubadour,” and Brenda Lynn Allen. Billed as “Happy Days and Swanky Southern Nights,” the evening will blend live music with a talk-show-style interview and audience Q&A about Most’s career, followed by a meet-and-greet. Organizers and fans alike are calling it the ultimate birthday celebration, with the show doubling as a night of tribute and fun for the star. Buy tickets HERE.

“We are going to be talking about Happy Days, but we will also do a Q&A with the audience too if anybody wants to ask him any questions, and then he will do a meet-and-greet afterwards,” said Kaylor.

Together, the two shows offer fans a rare chance to celebrate with Most and mark the occasion in style. Whether by scoring tickets to his Opry debut or joining the birthday festivities at The Mulehouse, both events double as memorable gift ideas for any Happy Days fan or classic music lover in the family.
“I’m delighted to be celebrating my birthday weekend at the Grand Ole Opry and the Mulehouse in Columbia, Tenn,” says Donnie Most. “I’ve always enjoyed Tennessee, and one of my favorite memories from my time there was listening to Lucinda Williams sing at the Bluebird Cafe.”

In addition to his television and film career, which includes recurring and guest roles on Glee, Star Trek: Voyager, Slidersand others, along with feature films such as EdTV and Crazy Mama, Most has built a second act as a swing-era vocalist, performing his show “Donny Most: Mostly Swinging” at venues including 54 Below and The Iridium in New York and Catalina’s Jazz Club in Hollywood.
