Below are some of the highlights from 2017:

PLA Media was named CEO Monthly’s Best PR & Marketing Agency in TN.

PLA’s president, Pam Lewis, was named CEO Monthly’s PR Firm President of the Year in TN.

PLA’s Senior Publicist, Mark Logsdon, celebrated 10 years with the firm!

Co-writer on the RIAA Diamond certified Florida Georgia Line hit Cruise, Jesse Rice, was named the Trop Rock Music Association’s Horizon Artist 2017.

Rising country artist and banjo player, Lockwood Barr, lobbied for a barrier on the Golden Gate Bridge to prevent suicides, and this year officials finally began construction on a net that Barr has been fighting for since losing her best friend to suicide from the bridge in 2008. Barr shared her story on CBS Sunday Morning.

A longtime client of PLA’s, The Johnny Cash Museum, has earned numerous awards and recognition from outlets such as Marie Claire, USA Today, Where Traveler, TripAdvisor, Orbitz and many more.

Guitar virtuoso David Andersen, ‘The Ambassador of Music City’, made Nashville history when he performed his milestone 5,000th show at the County Music Hall of Fame & Museum and was honored by Mayor Megan Barry. Andersen also performed at the Music City Walk of Fame inductions for Little Big Town, Kenny Rogers, Amy Grant and more.

June’s CMA Fest was hectic but productive with 4 exhibit hall booths, 14 artists and 57 interviews with media.

The Patsy Cline Museum opened in April and has already garnered accolades from Country Living, ABC News, Billboard Country and more.
