THE BOOT PREMIERES RACE CAR DRIVER & RECORDING ARTIST TYLER WILLIAMS’ SPOTLIGHT MUSIC VIDEO
Tyler Williams’ music video for Spotlight, the title track from his latest EP, debuted on The Boot today as a kickoff to the opening weekend for NASCAR. The video was directed by Austin Peckham of Create Nash whose recent projects include videos for Jimmie Allen, Abby Andersen, Matt Stell & Luke Pell.
“Spotlight is a mid-tempo love ballad that’s easy on the ears,” says The Boot. “The music video for the song, which is written about a woman who always ‘steals the spotlight’ even though she isn’t really looking for it, features Williams on what seems like an ideal, day-long date that kicks off with a trip to the record store and ends with a bonfire.”
“When we were writing this one, we all recalled that one person that without any effort could become the focus of a room,” recalls Tyler. “Not in a desire for attention sort of way, but in a positive, authentic connection with others that just elevates the energy in a room.”
Spotlight is the title track of Tyler’s new album, which was produced by Jared Anderson whose previous works include Parmalee and Judah & the Lion. Spotlight is available on iTunes, Amazon Music, Spotify, Google Play, Apple Music and all major online retailers.
