Texas Regional Radio Two-Time #1 Hit Maker Teams Up with Legendary Tunesmiths Bernie Nelson and Phil O’Donnell on the Rockin’ “Honky Tonk Highway”

Case Hardin, the breakthrough traditional country artist who has already logged two #1 hits on the Texas Regional Radio Report, premiered his latest release, Honky Tonk Highway, on June 3rd. The single is available for streaming on Amazon, Apple Music, Pandora, Spotify, and all major online retailers.

“This song is edgy distortion meets old-school cool,” says Hardin. “I couldn’t think of a better up-tempo song to release after two back-to-back #1 singles. Whether it’s radio or rodeo, this song embodies the story of my own Honky Tonk Highway.”

Bernie Nelson, who penned the song along with the #1 hit Daddy Never Was the Cadillac Kind (Confederate Railroad), had this to say: “I wrote this to be a long-term classic dance song which just celebrates Texas party style!”

Nelson paints the picture of a guy wound up as tight as a guitar string ready to blow off steam and the pure joy of long neck beers and long-legged ladies dancing across a sawdust floor. The song is a perfect romp to herald forth the joys of summer.

Honky Tonk Highway accelerated onto the Texas Regional Radio Report last week. It logged as the track with the most radio spin increases, the single with the most radio adds, and the highest single debuting on the charts.

As an emerging country artist, Case already has some great achievements under his belt. He has won various awards and competitions, including accolades from West Texas Songwriters, State FFA, SXSW, and the award for “New Male Vocalist” from the Texas Country Music Awards. He has toured with Aaron Watson, Pat Green, Eli Young Band, Parker McCollum, Cody Johnson, Kyle Park, Randall King, Casey Donahew, Roger Creager, Mike Ryan, Josh Ward, Cory Morrow, Jason Boland, Radney Foster, Dwight Yoakum, and Tracy Byrd.

Case notched a new milestone in his career within the last year when he landed two #1 tracks on the Texas Regional Radio Report with Alcohol Abuse and When You Roll That Way. In total, he has four top-five tracks on the Texas Regional Radio Report to his name, with his songs Texas Rain and Old Stomping Grounds both peaking at the #2 spot.
