Shane Michael Taylor’s “I’m Giving In” Music Video Release Event Was A Celebration Of Success

On Friday, July 23, Shane Michael Taylor dropped the music video for his latest single I’m Giving In and anchored an event to cap off his activities during Disabilities Pride Month. The music video made its premiere on The Country Network last week and is still currently in rotation on the network. In addition, CMT.com launched a spotlight on the 23rd that will remain online through Thursday at www.cmt.com/cmt-music-videos.

To celebrate the video release, an event was held at 404 Bar in Nashville. Featuring a Q&A session hosted by Center Stage Magazine’s Missy Wolf, the event was live streamed across Center Stage Magazine, RFD-TV, CDX Nashville, PLA Media and Shane Michael Taylor’s Facebook pages. Shane Michael Taylor’s I’m Giving In music video is centered around dishonest practices that are prevalent in the licensed caregiver industry, but are rarely talked about. Shane has created learning workshops tackling these topics to both raise awareness and promote change with caregivers and their clients. The video release event included a Q&A portion with Shane that discussed topics including Shane’s journey with spastic cerebral palsy, how he got his start as a songwriter in Nashville and common misconceptions about the caregiver/healthcare industry.

Shane’s I’m Giving In release roll out kicked off with The Country Note exclusively premiering the first full audio stream. That was followed by a release day feature on Country Music Chat/Country Sway’s “Undiscoverable, Notable, and Highly Addictive New Music Releases.” Country music fans were also able to stream Shane’s latest work on the Academy of Country Music’s New Music Friday Playlist placing him “shoulder to shoulder” with hit makers such as Thomas Rhett, Brian Kelley, Ashley McBryde, Chris Janson, Tim McGraw, Faith Hill, Dan + Shay, Keith Urban, Tracy Lawrence, Tyler Hubbard, Miranda Lambert, Ronnie Milsap and Ashley Monroe.

Shane Michael Taylor is a remarkable man who has overcome obstacles and transcended physical limitations to become a respected author, songwriter, and motivational speaker. Shane navigates the world in a wheelchair battling daily with communication hurdles as a result of being born with a severe form of cerebral palsy, a developmental disorder affecting movement, speech, and posture.
