PLA Media Welcomes Latino Country Singer/Songwriter Stokoff To Its Celebrated Roster

PLA Media is thrilled to announce the addition of Spanish-Country star Stokoff to its growing roster as he gears up to release his next single. The Colombia native has been writing music since his teenage years and is expanding the borders for the country genre by releasing a variety of original music and translated hits to the Spanish speaking audience. Stokoff joins a client list that features ACM, CMA and Grammy award-winning artist and Broadway actor Gary Morris, The Tina Turner Museum and the Americana Music Triangle among many others.

“Octavio Stokoff is a multi-cultural artist with Colombian and German roots singing country music in Spanish!” says PLA Media Founder Pam Lewis. “It doesn’t get to be more of a melting pot than that. We are delighted to be working with this talented, versatile guy.”

Stokoff released his latest album, Country Music Hits En Español Y Mas, in early 2021 and has seen over one million streams on Spotify across the songs. The collection has 17 tracks including his translation of hits by Jason Aldean, Kenny Chesney, Old Dominion, Keith Urban, Rascal Flatts and Tim McGraw alongside Stokoff originals.

“These 17 songs are a milestone for me personally, and each song truly tells a story,” says Stokoff. “I enjoyed the challenge of re-imagining and singing the covers in my native language of Spanish, and I hope that comes across to listeners.”

In Colombia, his singles “Si Tu no Estás”, “Quiero Ser” and “Todo ha Cambiado” hit the top of the charts. “Todo Ha Cambiado” was also recently featured on Country Music’s Country Wide and Breaking Mexican Music playlists on Apple Music. His latest single “Embrujo” surpassed over one million views on YouTube. Throughout his career, Stokoff has performed at the Latin Billboards in Las Vegas and opened for Ricardo Arjona (Grammy and Latin Grammy Award Winner with 20 million records sold) and Franco de Vita (Latin Grammy and MTV Video Music Award winner). Stokoff also served at the Colombian representative at the Viña del Mar Song Festival in Chile for a crowd of over 24,000 viewers and a live broadcast in 55 countries appearing alongside the Backstreet Boys representing the U.S. Born in Germany but reared in Colombia, Stokoff began using songwriting to cope with the divorce of his parents when was a teen. He has since made the move to the U.S. and now calls Music City home with his wife and children.
