PLA Media Establishes United Kingdom Presence

PLA Media has been invited to expand their global reach by The Unity of Faith Foundation (TUFF) co-founder Dr. Shamender Talwar following the successful collaboration on 2022’s The Road to Nashville.

PLA will be sharing their media expertise with TUFF’s London office at 104 College Harrow Rd HA1 1BQ London, UK. Also, PLA will be supporting TUFF’s work recording talented, underpriviledged musicians at their Studio B, Motor Museum Liverpool location.

The legendary recording studio is located in the heart of the off Sefton Park section of downtown Liverpool, UK near the trendy Lark Lane District. Motor Museum studio boasts a 32-year history of music excellence, hosting a ‘who’s who” of talent including Amy Winehouse, Bring the Horizon, Oasis, The Black Keys, Jake Bugg, Macy Gray, The Artic Monkeys, and most recently alt-rock hit makers The Mysterines.

“Thanks to our joint efforts between TUFF and PLA Media, I am very proud to say The Road To Nashville global mental health project from Liverpool, UK, has become the largest songwriting contest in the world. We are happy to have the PLA team join us here in the UK to help further our mission,” said Daniel Xander, TUFF trustee and head of global operations/music production.

CEO and founder of PLA Media, Pamela Lewis, has visited London and Liverpool extensively while touring the UK and Europe with her management client Garth Brooks as well as being part of a music tourism delegation with Americana Music Triangle founder, Aubrey Preston, visiting iconic spots including Albert Hall, Abbey Road Studios, British Music Experience. This year, during Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II’s Platinum Jubilee celebration, Lewis was honored by being named a fellow with the Royal Academy of Arts (FRSA).

“PLA is honored to support and promote talented, underpriviledged young people around the globe, encouraging them to pursue their dreams and bless the planet with their art,” said Lewis. “By design, we have over the years worked with many diversse clients around the world. PLA will be supporting TUFF projects both in the US and abroad.”

PLA co-hosted a VIP Liverpool delegation with TUFF including the Liverpool city council’s Mayor Joanne Anderson, Kevin McManus, head of UNESCO city of music at culture Liverpool and Jon Keats, Director of The Cavern Club for The Road To Nashville, international mental health/music initiative. This six-month long project is the largest songwriting competition to date involving over 20,000 song submissions from 31 countries, and most importantly, nearly 4000 musicians treated pro bono for mental wellness.

To date, PLA Media has orchestrated many international projects including Irish acts Mary Duff, Peter Kennedy, Daniel O’Donnell, Philomena Begley, Irish Bernadette, Ireland-based Ritz Records, and Dolores Keane of The Chieftains fame, Berlin-based Tim Williams, Czech Republic’s acapella group Perpetuum Jazzile, Australian-based fashion company Corello Fashion and Dead Horse Branding, Italian operatic instructor Stefano Baldasseroni, and Canadian clients Michelle Wright, trio Beyond the Sun and Lighthouse Immersive.

The PLA team continues to strategize with TUFF co-founder Dr. Shamender Talwar and TUFF trustee and head of global operations/music production Daniel Xander, preparing for 2023 projects and TUFF.US initiatives.
