Nashville’s world renowned burlesque revue, Freya West, Gigi La Femme and Shan De Leers featured weekly at Nudie’s Honky Tonk and Skull’s Rainbow Room, take on new roles in HULU’s noir series Reprisal, available now. Reprisal, which stars Abigail Spencer (Suits, Mad Men & Rectify) as the femme fatale striking revenge on her family and gang violence also finds her sharing the limelight with Freya, Gigi and Shan at the series’ after-hours club Bang-a-Rang.

Reprisal is unlike anything on television right now,” says Freya West. “It transports you into a totally unique world, with dark, complicated characters and marvelously beautiful sets. The Bang-a-Rang, where we’re dancers, is a huge part of that world. One of the ways Josh Corbin (the show’s creator) brought the show alive was by hiring professional burlesque dancers for the club. Our choreographer, Dany Lofgren, worked tirelessly with the actors and our troupe to make the pinups brazen and dynamic. We had a fantastic time making Reprisal, and I’m so excited for viewers to get caught up in this wild ride!”

You can also meet this burlesque troupe each week at Nudie’s Honky Tonk and Skull’s Rainbow Room in downtown Nashville. With a show that Lonely Planet recently ranked as among the Top 8 “Best Places to See Burlesque Around The Globe”, Freya, Gigi, Shan and performer Evelyn Vinyl are among the beautiful line-up featured on Monday and Wednesday at 8:30 PM at Nudie’s Honky Tonk on Broadway and at 11 PM Thursday – Saturday at Skull’s Rainbow Room in Printers Alley.
