New Client Announcement: PLA Adds Gritty Americana Singer-Songwriter, Nathan Jacques, to Their Roster

PLA Media is pleased to announce their latest addition to their award-winning roster, Los Angeles based Americana singer-songwriter Nathan Jacques.

Inspired by the likes of legends Marty Robbins, Elvis, and Johnny Cash, Nathan will deliver a live, in-studio EP project filmed and recorded at the legendary EastWest Studios in Hollywood.

“We are thrilled to be working with Nathan. Our team saw him at his Nashville performance this spring and were blown away by his drive and talent. He encapsulates you in a story through his raw and authentic writing and musicianship,” says PLA Founder Pam Lewis.

“I’ve have spent a lot of time on the road this year sharing my latest project with fans across the US. Seeing the reaction from audiences, fueled me to get back in the studio and cut this live record,” stated Jacques. “I really wanted to share that experience with my fans and believe we’ve captured that on this project. The enthusiastic response from the PLA team and their passion for helping me share this story will be exactly the energy I need to reach a larger audience and bring this project to light.”

About Nathan Jacques

Hailing from quiet, wooded, mountain towns of New England, Nathan Jacques is a singer/songwriter now based in Los Angeles, CA. Nathan’s music can be pinned as Americana, but threads of country, folk, and vintage rock n roll are deeply woven across his sprawling cinematic soundscapes which gleams with a western edge.

Rather than retreading the well-worn path of autobiographical storytelling, Nathan opts for dramatic, fictional characters and preternatural happenings that lay bare the human truths of love, loss, and redemption.

Following the release of Jacques’ 2021 debut record Loud Mind, his western rock n’ roll show began to pick up speed. Carving out a name and place for himself locally, Jacques has been bringing the new sound to stages across Los Angeles before hitting the road with a freshly assembled band. Jacques and company toured the southern half of the US for the month of March, sharpening and enhancing the sound and feel of the live show.

“The record and the live show should not be identical,” says Jacques. “The live show should be a special event, a certain feeling that you can’t get on the record. We take the elements from the record and dial it all up in some fresh or varied ways.”

Currently in the studio working on the follow-up record to Loud Mind, Jacques has his mind set on continued touring and further expansion of his new western sound. 2022 will deliver a live project and complimentary mini-documentary further connecting his audiences with the creative and narrative-style compositions that ground the Nathan Jacques sound.
