Latin Country Artist, Stokoff, Fires Up “La Fiesta” In Music City During Nashville October Shows

Stokoff graces stages at The Row, The Basement, and NashHouse Southern Spoon & Saloon

Latin country singer-songwriter, Stokoff, has spent the past month performing across Nashville stages where he drew in prominent music industry professionals.

After kicking off October with an acoustic set at The Row attended by Chris Young, Stokoff put on a show-stopping performance at The Basement on Oct. 24. Among his original songs, Stokoff performed his hit single Welcome to La Fiesta, a song that earned him a spotlight by The Academy of Country Music on their Fresh Music Friday playlist. He finished his tour with an unforgettable full-band show at NashHouse Southern Spoon & Saloon on Oct. 29.

In just a few years, Stokoff’s talent, tenacity, and charismatic personality is placing him on the radar with insiders including Brian White (CMA, ACM and Grammy award-winning country music artist, producer, and songwriter), recent Songwriter Hall of Fame inductee Rafe Van Hoy, and top publisher Giles Goddard. His unique music taps into the expanding melting pot of Music City.

“We at NashHouse were pleased to host Stokoff and his energetic band. He brings a unique Latin twist to our entertainment lineup and was well received,” enthuses Entertainment Manager for NashHouse and The Row, Samantha Funderlich.

Stokoff pleased at The Basement as well. “It was great to see Octavio Stokoff perform in such an intimate setting,” remarks The Basement’s Phil Simpson. “I loved the high energy songs and the way he combines his Latin influences with American pop and rock sensibilities. Listening to him is like if Jimmy Buffett went on an extended vacation in a South American beach town.”

Rick Rodriguez of La Cara Productions was in attendance of The Basement show, saying, “Stokoff’s rhythmic beats and buena vibra (good vibes) are recipe for a memorable show. You don’t need to speak the language to groove to his music. His version of Country is like his native country Colombia, the land of a thousand rhythms. There’s something for everyone, sometimes in English and sometimes in Spanish, but either way, you’ll be lured in by his distinctive way of storytelling.”
