The third annual Ladies of Distinction: Iconic Women of Williamson, presented by YOUR Community Media and YOUR Williamson, was held Tuesday, May 12, 2026, in Liberty Hall at The Factory at Franklin, bringing together community leaders, supporters, and guests for an elegant afternoon honoring remarkable women while investing in the next generation of female leaders.
Chaired by Darci Caesar and emceed by Stacy Case, the well-attended event featured shopping with women-owned businesses, a curated silent auction, a fashion show presented by Belk of Cool Springs, and a luncheon before the afternoon’s main program recognizing the 2026 Iconic Women of Williamson. Guests enjoyed lively conversations as honorees were celebrated by family members, colleagues, and longtime community supporters.
This year’s Iconic Women of Williamson honorees included Elaine Anderson, Denise Andre, Ellen Boyer, Evelyn Hickerson, Ondrea Johnson, Mary Lankford, Pamela Lewis, Doris McMillan, and Marianne Schroer, each recognized for leadership, service, philanthropy, and lasting contributions that continue to strengthen the Williamson County community.
This year’s charitable partner was the Williamson Health Foundation Capital Campaign, with a specific focus on the Turner-Dugas Breast Health Center, which supports education, screenings, and compassionate services for women navigating breast health care and breast cancer diagnoses. Through the event, YOUR Community Media continues its annual commitment to the Ladies of Distinction – Iconic Women of Williamson Named Fund at the Foundation, extending the event’s impact far beyond the day of celebration.
An especially meaningful moment of the afternoon was the presentation of the 2026 Ladies of Distinction Scholarships, awarded in honor of Sandy Zeigler to outstanding female seniors from Williamson County schools. The scholarships recognize academic achievement, leadership, community involvement, and dedication to future success.
This year’s scholarship recipients include:
- Emma Brown, Nolensville High School – attending Lipscomb University, majoring in Education
