GARY MORRIS, GRAMMY AND CMA AWARD-WINNING SINGER/BROADWAY STAR, RETURNS TO BRANSON OCT. 5 FOR ONE NIGHT ONLY
Famed country music artist and Broadway star Gary Morris will make a one night only appearance at Billy Yates’ newly opened Choices Concert Hall, 7:30 p.m. Oct. 5, Branson, Mo.
The intimate evening will feature songs from Gary’s new album, “Sense of Pride,” as well as some of his chart-topping country music hits, including “Why Lady Why,” “Velvet Chains” and the iconic “Wind Beneath My Wings.”
About the first performance in Branson since releasing “Sense of Pride,” Morris says “I’m excited to share some of my new music with good friends in Branson. I’ve always enjoyed playing Branson, and definitely look forward to performing at Billy’s Yate’s state-of-the-art Choices Concert Hall.”

About Gary Morris:
Morris recorded 12 albums which spawned 16 Top 10 and five #1 hit singles, including “Why Lady Why,” “The Love She Found in Me,” “Baby Bye Bye,” “100% Chance of Rain,” “Leave Me Lonely” and “Wind Beneath My Wings.” In 1984, his original rendition of “Wind Beneath My Wings” won both the Country Music Association (CMA) and the Academy of Country Music (ACM) “Song of the Year Award.” In 1982, he was also named Billboard’s “Male Artist of the Year.” At the height of his Nashville recording career, the Texas-bred tenor was offered the role of Rodolfo starring opposite Linda Ronstadt in the Broadway production of Puccini’s opera, La bohème.
