DESCRIPTION:Motif on Music Row (50 Music Square West) has announced songwriters selected to perform in the qualifying round they’re hosting for the seventh annual Tennessee Songwriters Week Saturday\, Feb. 1\, 2025 (2:00 PM/CT). Performers include: Caroline Bergan\, William Bryant\, Trey Calloway\, Tyler Cohenour\, Ryan Ernest\, Sofia Lynch\, Piper Madison\, Abigail Neilson\, Aron Rosing\, Michael Saleta\, Laura Sawosko\, and Miggie Snyder. Doors open 1:30 PM/CT. \nSongwriters will be rated by a judging panel of industry veterans including Nashville Music Guide Editor Amanda Andrews; renowned author\, songwriter and historian Don Cusic; and Robert K. Oermann\, dubbed “the dean of Nashville’s entertainment journalists.” \n“American Idol” season 20 winner Noah Thompson will host and perform. Singer-songwriter Makky Kaylor will kick off performances with his self-penned “Tennessee\, In My Dreams” – which is Tennessee’s 13th official state song. \nTickets are $25 (available at the door) and include two drink tickets and light appetizers. A portion of proceeds will be donated to the Los Angeles Fire Relief Effort To Support Music Professionals impacted by the crisis\, launched by the Recording Academy and MusiCares. Seating is first-come\, first-served. \nWinners of qualifying rounds progress to showcase events across Tennessee and ultimately perform at the renowned Bluebird Cafe in Nashville. \nOut of nearly 50 participating venues across Tennessee\, Motif on Music Row is hosting the only qualifying round in Metro Nashville.
