Ditty TV Debuts Nathan Jacques’ “Dream, Dream Away” and Cam Allen’s “Lake Days”

“This song is about a love run cold and leaving even though you don’t want to. The turmoil of an ending relationship hurts and sometimes a soft, sad song doesn’t get those feelings out the right way,” explains Nathan Jacques about Dream, Dream Away. “In this instance, a boisterous rock song felt like the right vessel. It’s a sad tune but a damn good time to play live.”

Lake Days is a summer anthem for all those lake weekends – waking up with sunburnt skin and searching for your second wind as you are getting a little tipsy on the water with your family, friends, and lake buds. Whether floating or beached in a cove, you’re making memories and singing along to your favorite tunes. That’s what summer is all about,” says Cam Allen. “Your tan gets a little darker, your buzz gets a little stronger, and all of life’s worries go away for a day. You can catch me and the band out on the water for another round all summer long. We’ll be sinking that boat upside down”

To stream the premieres, DittyTV is accessible on the web and on any connected device at https://dittytv.com/watch/ and also on your TV set via AppleTV, FireTV, Roku, GoogleTV, Samsung, LG and Sony Smart Televisions, Amazon Alexa (Show and Dot), the DittyTV smartphone app, and through cable providers with digital service, such as Mediacom, Comcast and Cox via a Tivo box.

About Nathan Jacques

Hailing from quiet, wooded, mountain towns of New England, Nathan Jacques is a singer/songwriter now based in Los Angeles, CA. Nathan’s music can be pinned as Americana, but threads of country, folk, and vintage rock n roll are deeply woven across his sprawling cinematic soundscapes which gleams with a western edge.

Rather than retreading the well-worn path of autobiographical storytelling, Nathan opts for dramatic, fictional characters and preternatural happenings that lay bare the human truths of love, loss, and redemption.

Following the release of Jacques’ 2021 debut record Loud Mind, his western rock n’ roll show began to pick up speed. Carving out a name and place for himself locally, Jacques has been bringing the new sound to stages across Los Angeles before hitting the road with a freshly assembled band. Jacques and company toured the southern half of the US for the month of March, sharpening and enhancing the sound and feel of the live show.

“The record and the live show should not be identical,” says Jacques. “The live show should be a special event, a certain feeling that you can’t get on the record. We take the elements from the record and dial it all up in some fresh or varied ways.”

Currently in the studio working on the follow-up record to Loud Mind, Jacques has his mind set on continued touring and further expansion of his new western sound. 2022 will deliver a live project and complimentary mini-documentary further connecting his audiences with the creative and narrative-style compositions that ground the Nathan Jacques sound.

About Cam Allen

Cam Allen and his band of musicians from Oklahoma and Texas have quickly risen through the country music ranks across the Midwest. Blending south side Oklahoma roots with an unmistakable Nashville sound, Cam has headlined numerous sold-out shows and shared the stage with some of the country’s top music talent, including Dustin Lynch, Randy Rogers, Chris Cagle, Corey Kent, and Mike Ryan.

Cam’s music traverses a broad spectrum of emotion but is grounded in his authentic style and unique timbre. Shrouded with relatability, Cam’s mellow, yet catchy tracks narrate stories ranging from love and heartbreak to themes of relationships, family, and friends. For Cam, “there’s a lot about finding your way through life as things change, relationships change, and you walk your path of ups and downs.”

As the lead vocalist, Cam is currently supported by a four-piece band. Will Murray is on lead guitar, Zander Silva is on guitar, Desmund Richey is on bass and Carlos Encarnacion is on drums. These self-taught musicians would gather in their parents’ garages to play music together after their wrestling matches, baseball and football games in high school and college. Now based in Moore, Oklahoma, their love for music and passion for writing evolved over the years into a bluesy tinged vocal sound influenced by classic country greats and Texas red dirt styles.

The music community was first introduced to Cam through a Tweet of him performing that went viral, putting a social spotlight on his music. Cam’s distinct voice landed him on American Idol in March 2021 on Season 19 and would result in him being signed to GOAT Music Group, an independent Texas label.

His debut EP titled Daydream was released in March 2022 on GOAT Music Group. Since that project, he has subsequently released five singles. Daydream, Drink To That Too, Texas, Jack Daniel’s Cologne and his latest, the summer party-on-the-water soundtrack, Lake Days.
