Blues Country Songstress Copper Ring Will Have You “Talkin’ ‘Bout Love” With Her Latest Release

Connie Hall, better known as Copper Ring, premiered her new single Talkin’ ‘Bout Love today on all online retailers. The track was co-penned and produced with Brad Davis (Tim McGraw, Billy Bob Thornton) and features her signature feminine-but-feisty tone anchored by instrumentation peppered with acoustic slide guitar. Talkin’ ‘Bout Love showcases fun-loving lyrics and a melody that will be on repeat in your head.

“While in the production process of a larger project, I wanted to create a relaxed, bluesy sound with country flavor for the title track of the collection,” says Connie. “Brad and I worked out a melody and hook line to get us started before I went on a vacation. While I was stuck in my cabin for most of the trip because of rain, I was able to continue the writing process for this track, building a storyline about a romantic love.”

Connie Hall, better known as Copper Ring, grew up in Longworth, Texas near Sweetwater. She received classical vocal training throughout her formative years, but never developed a desire to pursue a career in opera. Instead, her heart’s passion was to express her vision of love, faith, truth and hope through her very own bluesy style of country. She has shared the stage with artists such as Phil Cross and the Poet Voices, while performing with her former gospel quartet. Embraced by the production wings of Brad Davis, Connie began honing her sound and developing her artistry further. Now, with a series of new releases in the pipeline, this Lone Star State native is ready to put her own stamp on the country genre with her blues meets red-dirt sound.
