“Ambassador of Music City” David Andersen Added to a Star Studded Walk of Fame Induction Ceremony

DAMusic City’s resident guitar virtuoso, David Andersen, continues to make his mark on Nashville’s music scene with his upcoming appearing at the Music City Walk of Fame Induction Ceremony. This will be held Thursday, June 4, 2015 at 12pm in the Walk of Fame Park, Nashville, TN.

This event, which is located on Demonbreun Street between 4th and 5th Avenue, is open to the public. The Walk of Fame Park has been completely rebuilt and is a sparkling landmark showcase for the greatest artists that Nashville has produced, from Hank Williams to Kings of Leon.

This year, the induction ceremony will feature country music legend and CMA artist-of-the-decade in the 1970s, Loretta Lynn, and pop music superstar of the White Stripes, Jack White.

“This will be another historic day in Music City,” Andersen says. “I feel very grateful to be chosen to salute my heroes, and pay tribute to these legends who bring honor to Nashville.”

As Ambassador of Music City, Andersen has performed for each of the 64 inductions since the project began in 2006. A virtuoso musician, Andersen has performed Gospel, Rock, Country, Jazz or Classical music appropriate for each individual star. Andersen will perform an hour-long set, reprising the music of prior Walk of Fame stars, at 1:00pm., the Induction Ceremony will begin with Loretta Lynn and Jack White. At 2pm. Andersen will perform for the media after-party in the downtown Hilton Hotel, where the stars will gather for interviews and refreshments.

A child music prodigy reared in Long Beach, California, Andersen could play music before he could even talk. He is an accomplished songwriter and proficient on multiple instruments, including the ukulele. Each day, Andersen gives every new friend he meets at the Country Music Hall of Fame his signature guitar pick and a challenge…”remember why they came to Nashville and to take time to enjoy the music they came here to find.” Andersen not only remembers but lives and breathes the music of Nashville every day. With all his experience in Music City, Andersen is a guitar virtuoso in every sense.
