Six-Time Billboard Top 30 Independent Christian Artist, Devin Williams, Premieres New Sound And Single On Friday
Live Performance Debut of Before I Met You at Springfield, TN’s Freedom Celebration with For King and Country
Devin Williams, the independent Christian artist behind six Billboard Top 30 hits, returns to the Christian scene on Friday, July 1st with a pop extension of his rock catalog with, Before I Met You. The live performance debut of the single and additional new songs will come at Springfield, TN’s Freedom Celebration on Sunday, July 3rd with Grammy and Dove Award winners For King and Country.
“I’ve been beyond blessed to see Christian radio open its doors to an independent throughout my career,” says Devin. “As with any artist, sometimes you feel compelled to give your sound a new direction and I am so excited to see how the fans and industry react to this new pop fused EP that we finished.”
Before I Met You, perfectly molds contemporary pop music with a brand new sound that reminds us of freeze frames, leather jackets and sunglasses at night. Devin’s latest project was crafted in the hands of Grammy nominated producer Christian “Davis” Stalnecker (Michelle Williams, Boys II Men, Jordan Knight, Lil Wayne, Ludacris). Devin Williams
This California born and Bluegrass reared Christian pop/rocker marks a decade of albums and live touring on the independent scene with the release of his new EP Before I Met You. For those unfamiliar with Devin, this husband and father of three boys has shared the stage with for King and Country, Building 429, Family Force Five, KJ52, Fireflight, SonicFlood’s Jeff Deyo, and Rapture Ruckus. “His voice is amazing, his talent is very evident and his heart and commitment to seeing God work through him is steadfast and contagious,” says Deyo. Others in the Christian music scene are commenting on this leading unsigned talent.
Mac Powell of Third Day also states that he is not only impressed by his music, but by his desire to spread the message of God’s love and grace. “You won’t be disappointed! I believe God has something special for this guy,” says Powell.
