Riaa Diamond Artist/Writer Jesse Rice Headlining Waiting To Hear’s Loud Shirt Gala Fundraiser

Jesse Rice, a Trop Rock #1 artist and co-writer on the RIAA Diamond certified Florida Georgia Line hit Cruise, is headlining the annual Loud Shirt Gala in Bristol, VA benefitting Waiting to Hear. The proceeds from this island themed fundraiser are used to raise public awareness about the benefits of cochlear implants and to educate area families with deaf and hard of hearing children on care options.

“I am grateful to be a part of this fundraiser,” says Jesse Rice. “The information and options that this team provides to families of deaf and hard of hearing kids is priceless. When it comes to children and care, it’s always necessary to weigh all options before choosing an action plan and this organization makes that process easier. Plus, when Shannon told me about the recurring island theme, I knew I was going to feel right at home with this crowd.”

Jesse transports listeners to sandy beaches filled with Coppertone tans and umbrella drinks on his latest release The Pirate Sessions III which peaked inside the Top 5 on the iTunes Country Charts. Fans can purchase the project on iTunes by clicking HERE.

About Waiting to Hear
Waiting to Hear was founded in 2014 with a very simple mission: to help deaf kids…HEAR! The organization was started by Shannon and Sherry Ball after their daughter, Sarah suddenly lost her hearing at age 2. A year later Sarah received the gift of hearing through the use of cochlear implants, and Waiting to Hear was born. The organization helps guide newly diagnosed families through the process of obtaining cochlear implants, and provides programs that help deaf children achieve a hearing and spoken language outcome. Their current programs include a free Pediatric Hearing aid program, a Language Enrichment Summer Camp, and free parent resource libraries at local speech and hearing centers. Waiting to Hear is a 501(c) (3) nonprofit and is proud to be a 100% volunteer-run organization. For more information, visit waitingtohear.org.
