The young singer-songwriter, musician, and gospel performer, Chad Tyson, will captivate an audience as he performs at the Cool Springs Galleria Mall in Franklin, TN for WAKM’s live radio remote.

This half-hour segment, hosted by Tom Lawrence, features on-air interviews featuring events happening at the Cool Springs Galleria as well as performances scheduled for both the listeners at the station and those in the mall. Chad will perform his song, “Here In The Country” and a few others including a Christmas tune just in time for the holiday.

Chad’s hard work, charisma and faith are leading him to the spotlight. He recently competed in the acclaimed Nashville Star Search and won “Best Original Song,” “Best of Show Overall,” and received 1^st place as a Country writer. 

Chad had many opportunities to perform with groups such as Gold City, The Greenes, The Dove Brothers, The Mike Speck Trio, The Anchormen Quartet, among others. He has recently moved to Nashville to further develop his talents. “I want my music to live on and have an impact on people even after I’m gone. That is something that is very special to me.”

WAKM has operated since 1953 covering almost one-third of the state. More than 1.4 million people live within the service area and almost one million reside within city grade contour.
