Pamela Lewis, a native of upstate New York, is a graduate of Wells College with a B.A. in Economics/Marketing and a minor in French and Communications. Lewis spent a year in Paris studying at COUP (Center of Overseas Undergraduate Program) affiliated with The Sorbonne University. In New York City, she did additional graduate course work at Fordham University, The New York School for Social Research and The Publicity Club of New York. From 1980 to 1984, Lewis was part of the original publicity/marketing team that launched MTV to the world and also worked with MTV’s sister cable channels Nickelodeon, The Movie Channel, and the Arts & Entertainment Network. In 1984 she left WASEC (Warner Amex Satellite Entertainment Company), a joint venture of Warner Communications and American Express, with the position as National Media Director.

Mark’s passion for music and penchant for remembering song lyrics made him a pseudo-celebrity in his own right. He appeared on national TV, competing in – and eventually winning – CMT’s The Singing Bee in 2009. A Kentucky native, Mark made his trek to Nashville in 2004. Prior to joining PLA Media, he worked at Sony/BMG, RLM/Mission Management, and the Atlantis Music Conference. Mark graduated Magna Cum Laude from Middle Tennessee State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Recording Industry and a minor in Marketing.
Publicist & Marketing Account Representative
Brittney is a graduate from Troy University with a Bachelor degree from the School of Communication and Fine Arts with a concentration in Communication and Music Industry. During her tenure at Troy, she headed up the marketing team for Ilium Records, LLC. and was responsible for executing three, six-city southern regional tours. She was also in charge of the marketing for numerous concerts, CD release parties and special events hosted by John M. Long School of Music.
Publicity & Social Media Coordinator
Before joining PLA Media, Sara served as a marketing assistant at the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum, where she handled regional radio promotion. She coordinated with over 40 radio stations writing and distributing copy as well as securing all contracts for the stations. Sara also ran a successful music blog where she was responsible for interviewing artists, writing album reviews, and managing social media. Hailing from Oak Park, IL, she holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Music from the University of Illinois.

Matt Williams is a designer and entrepreneur from Pennsylvania. While earning his Master’s degree in business from Belmont University, he found his way into the music industry through various consulting jobs, as well as internships with Big Yellow Dog Music and the first season of Musicians Corner.
After Belmont, Matt began freelance branding and design work, which led to a position as marketing manager and on-air talent of the entertainment blog FOCUS on the 615. Since that time, Matt has amassed an eclectic client base in industries as diverse as entertainment, fashion, interior design, marketing and public relations, medicine, museums, restaurants and more.

Allie graduated from Monmouth University in New Jersey with a Bachelor’s Degree in Communication and a dual concentration in Public Relations and Television Production. Before joining PLA, Allie held internships in New York City at The Rachael Ray Show and The Door Marketing Group, along with a small PR agency in Nashville. Though she’s still a Jersey girl at heart, Allie moved to Nashville to pursue a career in public relations.

The Public Relations Assistant will work directly with the publicists at the office to help develop campaigns for local and regional markets; write, distribute and follow-up on press releases and media alerts as needed; conduct follow-up calls to media outlets; assist with press kit creation and client meetings; and conduct various research.
The Social Media Assistant will monitor and post on blogs, forums, and social networks; update and engage the audiences on all social media platforms; and brainstorm and create opportunities in which clients can engage.
