Noah Guthrie’s latest single, Pardon Me (written by Guthrie and Matthew Perryman Jones), was released on all digital platforms Friday, June 10. This was his first original release since his 2014 debut album, “Among The Wildest Things.”
Often known for his unique covers on YouTube, Noah is excited to swap places with his fans and give them the opportunity to cover his music. As part of his Pardon Me Cover Contest, Noah has asked fans to make a cover video of the single and submit it to firstname.lastname@example.org. The winner will be featured in the Pardon Me Fan Video and receive a signed copy of his new album before it’s released. More information about the contest can be found on Noah’s Facebook Page.
Though this viral vocalist found fame covering chart-topping hits, it’s clear to see Noah’s skills are better put to use creating original music. In the week since its release on AXS.com, Pardon Me has already caught the attention of many, becoming the #1 download on NoiseTrade the first day.
“On his latest single, Pardon Me, the world will soon take notice of Noah Guthrie’s poetically soulful voice and textured lyrics,” said Jeff Game, music journalist for AXS.com. “Stardom may just be lurking right around the corner.”
In addition to releasing new music, Noah continues to build a worldwide fan base with an impressive lineup of U.S. and European show dates. Having just completed his second nearly sold out European tour, Noah is preparing to go back for a third tour in September with YouTube sensation Megan Davies.
With over 1 million social media followers and 66+ million YouTube views, it’s easy to see why Noah Guthrie, a rising Americana/Soul singer-songwriter, has become one of the most talked about viral sensations in years.
Noah experienced the explosion that comes with a viral video when his blues-filled version of LMFAO’s Sexy And I Know It earned him more than 8 million views in less than a week (now over 24 million views). As a result, Noah was featured on NBC’s Today Show, Jay Leno’s Tonight Show, Dancing With The Stars and several U.S. and European radio stations. Covers of his version have been featured on The X Factor and the U.S. version of The Voice. After his national media exposure, Noah was invited to join the cast of the hit TV show Glee, during the sixth and final season, as Roderick Meeks.
Noah has had the chance to open for Ed Sheeran, Neon Trees, Ben Rector, Cobra Starship, Matisyahu, Matt Nathanson and Selena Gomez. Noah has also worked with Matt Wertz, Gabe Dixon, Josiah Rosen (Augustana), Mher Filian (Selena Gomez), Matthew Perryman Jones, Isaac Hasson (Demi Lovato, Kris Allen, Hot Chelle Rae), Amy Stroup and Ben Rector.
